The Nutribullet 600 is hands down one of the best selling blenders on Amazon. When the blender was released back in 2012, it literally turned the definition of countertop blender on its head!
Before the Nutribullet, the blender market was full of large, noisy, tall and bulky appliances that were a pain to clean, took up all the space on the countertop and due to the hassle involved in setting up and clean up, they were typically relegated to the cupboard in favour for a stick blender.
I love the simplicity and ease of access that you have with a Nutribullet and being able to leave it on the side means that you are more likely to use it every day.

Ease of Use
Simplicity and ease of use are core to the success and appeal of the Nutribullet. There are no fiddly parts to assemble, fill the cup with the desired ingredients, top-up to the line with your liquid of choice, screw the blade on and then insert it into the base. To turn on, simply twist the cup in the base and then twist to turn off.
The cup also doubles as the drinking vessel if you so choose meaning one less item to wash up afterwards.
Cleaning is simple as the blades are part of the lid, so you have proper access to them instead of having to reach down into the bottom of the container.
My only negative is sometimes the lid can get a little too tight and due to the diameter of the lid, grasping it can be difficult if you have limited grip or joint problems such as arthritis.
Versatility
The Nutribullet is a fairly versatile tool and comes with two different blades and an assortment of cups in 2 different sizes.
You get the standard blade which is your go-to blade for everyday blending and smoothie making and then you also get a milling blade that is useful for working with harder items that would potentially dull the standard blade. Think things like hard spices, coffee beans and flax seeds. You can even use the milling blade to make small quantities on nut and rice flours though due to the extended time needed to make larger batches, you risk overheating the motor.
Reliability
The Nurtibullet is a reasonably reliable appliance and if looked after well should last well beyond the 1-year manufacturer warranty that comes with it. Our one is going on four years old now and still works well.
Keeping it well looked after is easy if you consider the following points:
- It is not designed for continuous use; doing so will cause it to overheat and damage the motor.
- Make sure the lid is tightly screwed on to avoid leaking, due to the way it is designed, any leaks will go directly into the motor housing which is a massive pain to clean up.
Value for Money
The Nutribullet is an incredibly versatile personal blender that is priced really competitively. The motor and blades are strong enough to blitz most recipes in small batches and with the various accessories you really get a good package.
